Family and Child Recreation—Through partnerships with organizations around the DC metro area, Homestretch is able to help the children enjoy experiences they may not otherwise be able to have. Children and families attend professional soccer games to cheer on the DC United, go to celebrity basketball tournaments through Hoops for the Homeless and go to the circus to see the clowns and acrobats. Every member of Homestretch is also able to take a Partakes class free of charge each quarter so that they can learn to swim or dance, discover a new style of artwork, or simply enjoy exercising through a class like cardio kickboxing.
